Jinxiao Li

Born and raised in Tianjin, China, Jinxiao spent her whole childhood there before attending the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Hefei, Anhui. During her sophomore year, she joined Prof. Xisheng Wang’s lab to work on transition metal-catalyzed cross-electrophile coupling. In her senior year, she conducted ten months of research working on electrical hydrotrifluoromethylation of olefins at Northwestern University in her senior year under the supervision of Prof. Christian Malapit. Outside of science, she enjoys cooking, watching movies and animation and roller-skating.
