Biography

Chris grew up in southern Georgia before studying chemistry at Cornell University. At Cornell he joined Professor Geoffrey Coates's group to conduct research on making polyolefins more sustainable. During undergrad, Chris also participated in summer research experiences in Professor James Eagan's lab at the University of Akron and in Professor David Baker's lab at the University of Washington Seattle. He is now in the Lamb group at UMN, where he will work on further understanding polyoxazolidinones. Outside of research Chris enjoys learning figure skating and exploring the Twin Cities.
